A family interpretation of an 8000-years-old tradition

Nestled within the pristine Eco-Zone of Saguramo village in the heart of Georgia's Mtskheta region, Kapistoni Winery stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of family-owned viniculture. Here, we proudly uphold an ancient winemaking tradition dating back 8000 years, an artistry recognized and celebrated by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage.

Our devotion to the traditional Qvevri method is unwavering. Clay vessels carefully buried in the earth nurture the process that allows nature's alchemy to work its magic. We source our grapes exclusively from ecologically cultivated vineyards in the region of Kartli, where ancient, indigenous grape varietals thrive.

This meticulous process, guided by time-honored techniques, transforms into wines of unparalleled quality—aromatic, terroir-driven, layered with complexity, and impeccably balanced.

At Kapistoni Winery, we invite you to savor the results of this tradition, a symphony of flavors that define the pinnacle of winemaking. Explore our wines and embark on a journey through time and taste.
